  • Jonathan Jensen

    color & exploration

Jonathan Jensen is an artist who finds joy in exploring different mediums. His current favorites are watercolor and collage. Jonathan likes to study a wide range of subjects. In doing so, he researches each interest, plans potential ways to make art based on it, prints photos for references and inspiration, and creates a detailed, layered work outlining various aspects of each subject.

Jonathan is meticulously organized creator and collector. One of his largest collections features hundreds of unique and varied keychains, carefully organized into labeled drawers and boxes. A small selection of this curation was displayed in "The Collectors," a show at the Living Studios Gallery highlighting the assemblage nature of work by artists at Living Studios.
