  • Growth Through Gaming

Building confidence, connection, and community through

    cooperative online adventures.

  • A Different Kind of Day Support

Growth Through Gaming is a neurodiversity-affirming online Day Support Activities (DSA Community) program for individuals who enjoy games, storytelling, and social connection.

Through cooperative tabletop role-playing games and structured group activities, participants build friendships, practice communication, and grow in confidence, all in a welcoming space they can join from home.

Small groups. Guided sessions. Real connection.

  • What We Offer

    Section image

    Meaningful Social Connection

Participants work together in shared adventures, learning how to collaborate, communicate clearly, take turns, and support one another. Every voice matters at the table.

    Confidence Through Creativity

Participants create characters, solve problems, and shape stories together. This builds self-expression, decision-making skills, and confidence in a structured, supportive environment.

    Safe, Structured Online Access

Sessions are fully facilitated and designed with clear expectations, visual supports, and guided interaction. Participants can engage from home, reducing transportation barriers while maintaining consistency and routine.

  • More Than Just a Game

Growth Through Gaming uses cooperative tabletop role-playing games similar to Dungeons & Dragons as a framework for growth. Participants meet online in small groups for three-hour sessions, up to two days per week.

Each session is intentionally facilitated. Staff guide gameplay, encourage participation, help navigate social dynamics, and create opportunities for skill-building in real time. Whether it’s working through a team challenge, practicing problem-solving, or supporting a fellow player, growth happens naturally through shared experience.

If you or someone you support is looking for an engaging, affirming, and structured online program, Growth Through Gaming may be a great fit.

  • Why it Matters

Many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities experience social isolation, especially when transportation, anxiety, or limited local programming create barriers to participation.

Online programs, when thoughtfully facilitated, can reduce those barriers while maintaining structure, accountability, and meaningful interaction.

    Growth Through Gaming provides:

    • Consistent social engagement in a small-group setting
    • Opportunities to practice real-world communication skills
    • A safe environment to build friendships
    • Access to community from the comfort of home

By meeting participants where they are, literally and figuratively, we create space for authentic connection, skill development, and belonging.
