  • Kelly McCauley

    whimsical and bright illustrator

Kelly McCauley makes work that is whimsical and bright. They are inspired by the glowing paintings of Thomas Kincade, and with their own unique mark, they capture that glowing and warm feeling in their own work. Some of their drawings are of animals, fantasy or real, with intense directional marks that bring the creature to life. Some of their works are deep landscapes with slumbering cities and lands that hint at life and community and retain a peaceful tranquility.

  • "My name is Kelly McCauley. I am an advocate for people with disabilities. I am an artist, musician, belly dancer, and writer. I come from a family of artists. I love drawing tattoo designs, and one of my favorite artists is Thomas Kincade. I have attempted to draw some of his holiday paintings. I am very passionate about music, and I think music and art compliment one another. I am a part of a music school in Eugene, where I get to perform most Novembers."
