Anna Trammel
abstract forms, fields, & lines
Anna Trammel works using an automatic and intuitive color mark making practice. Sometimes creating abstract planes of raining dashes of chromatic compositions, sometimes appropriating shapes to fill intensely and use in collage, her work is always layered and deeply intentional and decisive. She seems to be inspired by stories and nursery rhymes, sometimes reciting to herself as she works.
