  • Shawna Geer

    illustrator & storyteller

Shawna Geer expresses that drawing is “fun and relaxing.” She derives her inspiration from ocean scenes, trees during the holidays, flowers, dogs, and cats, and she occasionally implements different characters in her pieces of artwork. These characters depicted through graphite pencils, colored pencils, and markers are sometimes accompanied by descriptions that invite the viewer a further glimpse into the world that Geer creates. Geer says that “people like to look at the drawings,” and enjoys sharing them with the public as she has done so in many exhibitions.
